I have the 6qt version that is not available anymore. This is the new 7qt version. I have several attachments that really help in the kitchen. You can get a bunch of attachments for it. Things like a pasta roller/cutter, meat grinder, food mill (my most used accessory). Check out what your mixer can do and use it fully.
I’ve never regretted spending the money on a high-quality blender. I use it for any and all purées, dressing and so much more. You can blend hot soups, cold smoothies, and make nut butters and milks. The Vitamix customer service is amazing and with a 10-year warranty, you won't have to worry about it breaking down!
I have the 8 cup. I wish I had gotten the 13 cup for batch processing but it works great. On top of normal food processor stuff, chopping, I use this for shredding bulk cheese and potatoes for hashbrowns, slicing veggies thin, and making pie crusts (really anything that the recipe says to mix butter into pea-size balls in flour).
A Crockpot is a must-have for any style of cook. The convenience of dump-and-go meals is too much to pass up. Especially if you are out of the house all day for work or activities. It's so nice after a long day to come home to a fully cooked meal. Get the size that works best for your family. I have the 4.5 quart which cooks plenty for us with leftovers. If we had a larger family I would get the 7 quarts .
I received this as a gift from my grandparents almost 8 years ago now. It works great for all sorts of stuff. I mainly use it as a rice cooker, hardboil egg maker, yogurt maker, and cooking unsoaked beans. I've used it to make roasts in the past. The only thing I have had to replace on it is the gasket ring.
There is a reason this air fryer has been ranked #1. It's that it works. I got this as a Christmas present for my husband and he uses it every day. It makes perfectly crispy oil-free fried foods. You can also roast, bake, broil, and dehydrate in it. It's also super easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
There is a reason why Chefs use All-Clad in their kitchens. They are high-quality, durable, high-heat pots and pans. They can withstand heat up to 600 degrees! You can get a set or buy individually. I have slowly gotten mine individually. Here are the ones I currently have and use in my kitchen.
My favorite and most used pan!
I love cast iron. It is super versatile, evenly heated, chemical-free, and easily maintained. Lodge is my go-to brand. They are well made, affordable, and have a lifetime warranty. I have collected these pieces over the years
I love this so much that I have two! One I use for baking bread exclusively. The other I use for pasta, one-pot meals, soups, stews, and any tomato-based sauce. There are so many uses and it's really easy to clean.
I got a great deal on this! It is awesome for casserols and one-pot dishes.
My go to pan
Great like the 10 Inch but with more space.
I use this for small portions and frittatas. It makes the perfect size frittata for a small family.
Great for pancakes, quesidillas, grilled cheese sandwiches.
This was the first cast iron I ever bought. I did not understand pan sizing so I didn't realize that this is a huge pan. I use it for big batches of meatballs, meat pies, etc.
A 30-quart stock pot is a must for making your own broths. I use it mainly during preservation season.
Used for making sandwich bread, meatloafs, etc.
Everyone needs sheet pans. These are pretty big. I use them for big batches of baking like cookies.
I use these to make sheet pan meals.
I make all kinds of muffins. From traditional baked muffins to meatloaf muffins and egg muffins.
Lots of uses. I use mine for casseroles, baking butter rolls, cinnamon rolls, enchiladas, etc.
Dehydrator. Great way to preserve herbs, and veggies to make into powders and many others. Love making homemade jerky.
These trays work with the Excalibur dehydrator. They are great for making fruit leathers and pureed foods like pumpkin and mashed potatoes.
Huge time saver. Takes a little bit of adjusting to get it right but once it’s set it is incredible.
This water bath canner works amazingly. It has a gauge on the lid so you know when to start your timer.
I recently upgraded to this to be able to can half-gallon juice jars. As far as I’m aware it is the only model safe to use on glass cooktops.
Recent purchase. I mainly use it for water bath canning. It's super easy to use. You really just set it and let it go.
This is amazing for roasting tomatoes, making applesauce, and cooking whole birds. I make all my pasta sauces exclusively in this during preservation season.
A must-have for freezing anything. It removes all the oxygen before sealing, preventing freezer burn and making your frozen foods last way longer.
A must-have for sealing jars of dehydrated foods. I seal jars that I don't think I will use within a year. It makes sure no oxygen is left with your dehydrated foods, preventing spoilage.
Steam juicer. Works really well. I make apple juice, grape juice, pear juice all kinds of juices with it. It's very simple to use and clean.
Adding this chopper to my inventory has cut my prep time down by about 80%. It is great for prepping onions, peppers, mushrooms, really anything you want uniformly sliced or diced.
If you have a kitchen aid mixer, this food mill attachment is a great purchase. It powers through tomatoes like they are air. The one downside is it has a smaller holder so it can take longer to do big batches.
I don't own this but it is on my wish list!
Not as aesthetically pleasing as butcher block cutting boards but I use these for chopping meat. They are super easy to clean and slip free.
These reusable pouches are great for taking any kind of sauce on the go. My daughter loves these and has 0 mess.
This hand held blender is awesome for making dressings, purees and baby food. I use it multiple times per week.
